Closure of Practice

Dr Peter Dohrmann's neurosurgery practice closed on 30 June 2010.  Dr Dohrmann has taken up a full-time position as Executive Medical Director of Epworth HealthCare.  Epworth is one of Australia's most progressive and respected hospital groups. 

Mr Patrick Chan FRACS (Neurosurgery) has taken over Dr Dohrmann's practice from 1 July 2010.  Mr Chan is a neurosurgeon who practices at Epworth and Alfred Hospitals.  He comes with Dr Dohrmann's highest recommendation.  His main rooms are at 517 St Kilda Road, Melbourne.  You can obtain his contact details and read more about Patrick Chan by visiting www.patrickchan.com.au

If you have been a patient of Dr Dohrmann, and you elect to transfer to Mr Chan, he will have access to your existing medical records to assist your ongoing care.

If you do not wish transfer to Mr Chan, you should discuss options with your general practitioner.

Dr Dohrmann will continue to securely store all health information contained in the medical records of his practice.  This information will be made available to other health service providers or direct to patients where requested, and at all times in compliance with relevant legislation and guidelines.
